I just returned from an amazing, fun weekend at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. I’ll be writing a lot more about my experience, but I can really recommend the hotel as a great place to stay for the race or any time. Recently renovated and with a cool GM who really understands luxury service, you get five-star service for three-star prices. Online specials on the Renaissance website offer advance purchase rates of $109, which is a great price to be across from the harbor and next to the excitement that is downtown Long Beach.
The view from my suite. That’s the track in the center.
The hotel’s executive chef Janine Falvo brings me breakfast (which was delicious!)
Riding in the pace car around the Long Beach Grand Prix track with Ricker my trusty race driver.
Bam, amazing lamb sliders. Coming soon to the menu at SIP Lounge, the hotel’s lobby bar, restaurant and lounge.
