Freddy “Luxury Fred” Sherman was first a world traveler who began to document his international adventures, leading to a career as a travel blogger, writer and photographer. His witty, direct, first-person style, combined with a range of exotic destinations and activities, began to attract attention and a luxury travel blogger was born. He began contributing to Yahoo! in 2009 and has over 1,000 published articles on Yahoo! Travel, Yahoo! Sports, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Movies and other Yahoo! sites. Fred has a BS in Economics from UCLA and worked in the music entertainment business for the Unversal Music Group before devoting himself to seeing the world and writing about it. An active member of SATW (the Society of American Travel Writers), he also enjoys meeting, traveling with and networking with other travel writers.
