What does Luxury Fred do when comes back to London? How about private, behind-the-scenes tours of the Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London. He also stays in a crazy serviced apartment in front of the Tower of London.

I love London and just couldn’t stay away, so I’ve returned for another amazing adventure. I flew via Air New Zealand, which has a very nice daily, direct service from LAX. I flew in their Premium Economy Spaceseat, which was large, private and quite comfortable.

I’m staying at the Cheval Three Quays, which is a luxury serviced apartment complex, that also caters to leisure travelers. A different experience than a luxury hotel, this is great for independent luxury travelers who want a sick pad, right in the heart of the city. And by right in the heart of the city, check out the views from my balconies. First, yes, that’s balconies as in more than one, and yes, I’m directly in front of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. And yes, I have a perfect, postcard view of Tower Bridge from my bed!

I’ve done some amazing things, I took a private tour of the Houses of Parliament, then a prviate tour of the Tower of London. In both places, I got to go off the beaten track, to places where the general public isn’t usually allowed. I flew above the city on an epic helicopter tour with The London Helicopter.

I’ve eaten at some great restaurants and will write more about each experience. I had a dinner at Heddon Street Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay’s new place in Mayfair, another dinner at 108 Brasserie and one at Kurobata, Scott Hallsworth’s new Izakaya place in Chelsea.
