Chef Beck prepared a tasting dinner with 11 courses from La Pergola

Chef Heinz Beck runs La Pergola, Rome’s only three-Michelin-starred restaurant, along with ten other restaurants around the world. I had the opportunity to spend some time with Chef Beck in the kitchen when he recently visited Los Angeles. This was in the kitchen of Jean-Georges at the swanky new Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills (which was just fantastic) and I also interviewed him.  Here are some pics and I will post the interview video shortly.

Chef was in LA to showcase his menu from La Pergola, which is located inside one of Rome’s best hotels, the iconic Rome Cavalieri. The Rome Cavalieri is a Waldorf Astoria resort, so when Chef came to LA, he did his tasting dinner at the Waldorf in Beverly Hills.

In addition to La Pergola, Chef Beck has ten other restaurants around the world, with new locations coming soon to London, Milan and Bologna. I had the pleasure of dining at one of his restaurants in Dubai, Social by Heinz Beck, located inside the luxurious Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah.
