Dubbed the “Halo Top Ski Lodge,” the hotel suite comes with a freezer filled to the brim with Halo Top’s signature flavors, Halo Top- and QT-branded ski apparel (it’s a ski resort) and a complimentary Halo Top tote bag. On your departure, you can load up that tote bag with as many tubs of ice cream as you want or can.

If that isn’t enough for a guest’s sweet tooth, the Halo Top Ski Lodge suite has an exclusive Halo Top cocktail kit, equipped to make the perfectly crafted Caramel Drama Queen using Halo Top’s signature Dairy-Free Sea Salt Caramel flavor. The room also comes with an “Over the Top” room service menu featuring a variety of goodies, including milkshakes, sundaes and desserts, such as Ice Cream Nachos.

The QT Queensland is a lakeside resort set on the shores of New Zealand’s Lake Wakatipu. It’s a 69-room boutique luxury hotel with incredible views of Australia’s Southern Alps mountains. The Halo Top Ski Lodge suite is available for booking from July 22 through August 4, 2019, and also includes complimentary breakfast for two at Bazaar, the hotel’s main dining outlet.

Known for its unconventional quirk, the Queensland hotel is part of the Sydney-based QT Hotels and Resorts boutique hotel collection.

Queenstown, New Zealand, sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps. Renowned for adventure sports, it’s also a base for exploring the region’s vineyards and historic mining towns. There’s bungee jumping off Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge and jet-boating on the Shotover and Dart rivers. In winter, there’s skiing on the slopes of The Remarkables and Coronet Peak. Air New Zealand is my preferred way of getting there. I love their comfy Business Class experience and also their Premium Economy Space Seats. You can see some videos of my flights with them HERE.
