The pool and spa

LEVEL Furnish Living is an amazingly cool luxury apartment building in DTLA that also rents lofts by the night as a luxury hotel. For the price of a tiny room at the Ritz-Carlton, a few blocks away, you get a full luxury loft, with a big balcony, washer / dryer, a chef’s kitchen and multiple living areas.

You also get a 24-hour staffed front desk with concierge services, valet parking and daily maid service. There’s no room service but with Postmates and Uber Eats, all of DTLA’s great dining options can be delivered to your door.

The location is great, 8th and Olive in the heart of the newly revitalized downtown Los Angeles. It’s easy to walk to the Staples Center and LA Live along with the nightlife on Broadway, Spring and Main Streets. You’re also a block from Whole Foods, a great grocery store, perfect for filling up that chef’s kitchen with great food and wine.

I spent a fun weekend at LEVEL and really enjoyed it. The service was excellent, you’re staying in a community so the staff is used to dealing with residents they see every day. I thought it was better, more personal, than a hotel experience, even a luxury hotel experience.
